LDDA Board meetings take place the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the City of Lithonia; City Hall, 6920 Main St, Lithonia, GA 30058.  Meeting notices and agendas are will be posted here, starting January 2024. Board meetings are open to the public.

The LDDA's purpose is to assist in the development and redevelopment of new and existing businesses. The affairs of the Authority are under the direct supervision and control of its Board:

  • study and analyze the impact of economic changes within City limits and the Lithonia Amphitheater;

  • plan and propose, within the city area, plans of development and other improvements such as any plans of development (i.e parking lot)

  • cooperate with any governmental entity, particularly the City of Lithonia in developing long range development plans;

  • make and enter into contracts (real estate) when necessary, exercise of its powers and the performance of its duties; and

  • manage the Amphitheater with aims of increasing revenue and visibility for growth.
